UK parliamentarians visit Hong Kong

Members of the All Party Parliamentary Group on China (APPCG) visited Hong Kong the week of February 18th 2013 on a visit sponsored by the Hong Kong government. Led by Lord Wei – the youngest member of the House of Lords – the parliamentarians’ programme included meetings with representatives of the government, Legislature and judiciary. The delegation also discussed trade and investment opportunities with members of the British Chamber of Commerce.   APPCG delegation met Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma to discuss legal and judicial developments in Hong Kong and the close links between the two common law jurisdictions.
